Featuring Miss Ohio!

In my year as NAM Ohio Miss I have had the opportunity to serve at several events. I worked with the American Heart Association; I got to help set up and walk in the KSUA Heart Walk. I also worked with the ADDA on projects such as: the bridge 2 bridge run, and  “keep Ashtabeautiful”.  My favorite events were the Ohio State Fair and Circleville Pumpkin Show with my sister queens.            I was blessed to have 10 beautiful sister queens serving by my side through out this year. I don't know what I would have done without these girls. They are truly an inspiration to everyone around them. Hallie, Olivia, Mikayla, Reagan, Sydney, Kylee, Tori, Lili, Katie, and Kamryn: you girls have truly become my family and I love you all! This year went by so fast, but was truly an experience I will never forget. I am so glad I got to be a part of the NAMily this year and to better myself through this program. Although I am sad to see it come to an end I am excited to see what the 2014 Ohio Royalt…

Featuring Miss Texas Jr. Pre-Teen!

I was so excited when I won the title of Miss Texas Jr Pre-Teen last year.  It was the best day of my life and I just knew the next year was going to be a great adventure.   After meeting the Mayor of Haltom City I set off for Disneyland and the National Pageant. It was so much fun.  I met a lot of new friends, had a blast with my brother and spent some time on the beach. I’d like to thank my Mom for all she does for me.  Gymnastics practice, Pageants, horseback riding…you make sure I always get where I need to be and have all I need to be a success. Dad, Thanks for always making me laugh, even through the tears, and my big brother for being my biggest fan and having so much patience when I drag you along to all my activities.   A big thank you to Ms. Lori for allowing me to be the best me I can be.  I couldn’t have asked for a better coach! To my incredible sister queens who made this year so much fun. Joey and McKenna, you both always make me laugh so much. Lauren, my Junior Pre-Tee…

Featuring Miss Texas Pre-Teen Justice Thompson!

The road to winning the Miss Texas Pre-Teen title wasn’t an easy one. Year after year since I was 7 years old I stood strong as my name was NOT called as the queen. Then last Summer as I finally heard it. My name, Justice Thompson as the 2013 Miss Texas Pre-Teen.This was my dream come true and I got to share the incredible honor with my baby sister Mckenna, who beat me to the NAM Crown by one day. So with my sister and family by my side I headed off to my California National Adventure.Standing on the stage with my North Texas Banner was everything I had ever expected and I could not have been happier to represent my great state. Back home with my Pet goat Bro I continued my involvement with FFA, volunteered at events for our local Animal Shelter and delivered gifts to kids at the Children’s Home.Knowing I made a difference to those children on Christmas Morning is a feeling I will never forget and hope to always repeat. I am so grateful for all the encouragement I have received from so ma…

Featuring Miss Texas!

My journey started ten years ago. A shy and definitely uncoordinated girl, walked on to the stage for the very first time. Even though I did not walk away with the crown, I gained so much more! National American Miss has been a key factor in my transformation from a girl to a young woman. This pageant allows for you to gain valuable life skills from interview to public speaking. More importantly, it has taught me how to be poised and confident in myself. Through National American Miss, I have meet the most kind-hearted and humble individuals who make up one big family, our NAMily. It has been an absolute honor to represent the great state of Texas for the greatest pageant system. Ladies, no matter what happens this weekend, remember to HAVE FUN! Do not take one moment for granted! Enter every aspect of your competition, as well as, your life with the mindset that you are AMAZING, and as long as you do your best, that is all that matters. Do not forget to thank those individuals who …

Featuring Miss Texas Teen!

As State Queen I’ve had the most unforgettable moments of my life. It’s amazing what life brings you, because as a child I never thought that by the age of18, I would be Miss Texas Teen. Being with National American Miss has taught me more about confidence and how to be the best I could be in everything I do in life. I started as a young girl whose confidence was up and down with dreams that only stayed in my mind, but National American Miss has taught me how to bring them into a reality. Once I gained this level of confidence, I wanted to give back and teach other girls that they can also follow their dreams and believe in themselves. So, I decided to start a project called G.L.A.M. (Girls Loving and Motivating themselves). During my reign, I was privileged to speak with many groups of girls about my message of inner beauty including the #WhatAGirlWants Girl Empowerment Conference, Girls, Inc. and the most heartfelt appearance, my 5th grade school, Amber Terrace Elementary.
