Featuring Miss Florida!

This past year as the National American Miss Florida Queen has been such a dream come true! I’ve been so blessed to be a part of the NAM system for nine years now and this organization, without a doubt, had helped mold and shape me into the woman I am today. I’ve been blessed enough to hold three state titles with NAM and along the way, I have met some incredible people have changed my life.
The opportunity to serve my community with my title has been such a humbling experience. Over the course of my time with NAM, I’ve served with the American Heart Association, Best Buddies, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, and many more. It’s a privilege to give back and having NAM as my stepping stone for service had been a tremendous honor.
The laughs, memories, and friends I have amassed over my years with NAM are things I will cherish forever. I can honestly say I have a friend in almost every state and my NAMily is something I wouldn’t trade for the world. My sister queens over the years are some of the brightest and most talented young women I’ve ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of.
I could not have had such an amazing reigning year or journey with NAM without the love and support of my friends and family. They’ve had such a big impact in my life and I wouldn’t be where I am without such an amazing team behind me.
Steve and Kathleen Mayes, LaKishia Edwards, Matt Leverton, and the numerous NAM staff and choreographers have honestly made my NAM experience what is was. They are the most loving and genuine people, who have a true passion and zeal for this organization that is unprecedented and insurmountable. The life skills that are taken from the experience of competing in NAM are simply incomparable and I, along with so many other amazing young women from across the county, have benefited from the dedication of this organization immensely. So much goes into making this system what it is and I want to thank all of these incredible people from the bottom of my heart for not only helping to make my dreams come true, but also, the dreams of so many young women across the nation.
I pray that my successor has the most amazing experience being a titleholder and representing the great state of Florida. She is going to have an incredible year serving her community and making memories to last her a lifetime; I couldn’t be more excited for this lucky young lady.
It’s been an astonishing ride with some amazing people and I thank my Lord and Savior for allowing me the blessing of being a part of this organization.

Featuring Miss New York Princess!

WOW!!! I’m still in shock that almost one year ago I was crowned your 2013 National American Miss New York Princess. It’s been such a blast reigning as your queen. This has been the most amazing year of my life, one I will remember and cherish forever.

I don’t know where to begin on how busy this little 7 year old princess became. I had the pleasure of meeting my beautiful sister queens and cover girls queens who I love so dearly. They are truly the best big sisters I could ever ask for. Not to mention how loving their families are. I had the pleasure of joining my sister queens and participating in the Veteran’s Day Parade. I would never image me riding on a float and being on national television. We also participated in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, the Lupus Walk, Operation Prom, and making goodies bags to bring to the children at the Helen House. I even got a big surprise when my sister queens surprised me for my birthday at the American Girl Store. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

National’s was so amazing! I met girls from all over the country and made some awesome new friends. Especially, Tyler Miss Washington Princess, who help me overcome my fear of roller coasters. YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!! Other queens who I had a blast with was New Jersey, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Connecticut, and Alabama. I miss you girls so much. I even went to Disneyland and got to tour the streets of Hollywood.

To the contestants, my advice to you is, have fun, be yourself, and smile big! You will learn so much this weekend, so take it all in. Remember even though only one of you will be crown, you are all winners in my book.

To my successor, Congratulations! Get ready for the most amazing ride of your life?

To the whole NAM family thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity. I AM SO GREATFUL!!! To my loving family and friends thank you for being my biggest supporters and believing in me.

Good luck to you all & I can’t wait to meet you all.
 Love Always,
  Amaya Williams

Featuring Miss California Jr. PreTeen 2013!

This year has been nothing short of incredible.  Over 100 hours of community service, I helped raise funds and awareness for MANY organizations, earning the GOLD level Presidential Service Award.
I had the honor of meeting Miss America, several celebrities and local politicians.

I attended countless number of events, parades, pageants and my jaw will hurt until 2017 from all the pictures I have taken.

I had the time of my life representing California at Nationals, where I made lots new friends across the country.

For my platform, I partnered up with Giving Children Hope and LA Mission, where I collected clothing, food, school supplies and toys benefiting the less privileged families.
I also helped cook and serve food for the homeless.

During my reign I did amazing things like earn awards at school, model for fashion shows and score patches being a Girl Scout Brownie.

Thank you To God for all the blessings, nothing would be possible without your unconditional love.
To the best Grandma ever, thank you for all that you do.
Mommy, I will never forget your words, a winner never quits and a quitter never wins.
To my family and friends, thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams.

Thank you to Steve and Robin, the best photographer and seamstress a Queen can ever ask for.

To Megan and Brian, thank you for your support and commitment to this amazing system.

To my sister queens, each and every one of you has truly inspired me.  Thank you all for the fun times and amazing memories. I love you all.

To my successor, buckle up and hold on to your crown because you are in for the ride of your life!  Dream big, never give up and be yourself.  Everything is possible, YOU can be unstoppable.

My reign has come to an end but my lifelong journey has only begun, determined and dedicated in continuing to make a difference in this world.
Mark my words, this is not a goodbye.
I will forever be your Miss California Jr. Preteen 2013 ,
Valerie Isabel Estrada.

Featuring Miss Maryland PreTeen 2013

                                                                                      To the Contestants,
My year as National American Miss Maryland Pre-Teen has been a dream come true.  Soon after I won my title, I was on my way to Anaheim California to compete in the national pageant.   I met so many beautiful and hilarious girls who encouraged and inspired me the entire week.  We went to Disneyland were I met the famous Peter Pan and believe it or not, I cried.
One of my passions is serving my community, which I got to do by sponsoring my annual Shady Grove Pediatric Christmas charity, recognizing a local Girls Scout troupe, speaking at numerous events including Rockvilles Martin Luther King Day of Service, and appearing in parades. I also made appearances with State Senators, Mayors, and many local officials. I love the performing arts, and this spring performed the role of Ariel in The Little Mermaid!During my reign, I met so many amazing leaders and role models - the CEO of Pepsico, Indra Nooyi; the First Lady, Michelle Obama; and the highlight was meeting Our President, Barack Obama! I even met the First Dog, Bo!  I would not be here without support from so many wonderful people.  Thank you to my personal cheerleaders, the NAM Maryland Directors, all the NAM staff, My parents for loving me and teaching me to pursue my dreams, and to my brother for being the best escort a girl could ever have.  To my sister queens - thank you for making this year so memorable.   Im going to end with one of my favorite quotes by Dr. Suess; You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  Youre on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the one wholl decide where to go… Oh, the places youll go!”
So this is farewell and wishing you Best of Luck!
From your  Miss Maryland Pre-Teen 2013!
