Featuring Miss Florida Pre-Teen!

Hi everyone. I'm Gabriela Baez your 2016 NAM Miss. Florida PreTeen and I'm very excited to get to know each and everyone of you girls competing.  A few things about me:  I will be attending a performing arts school in the fall majoring in dance.  My other love is photography.  One day I hope to become a photojournalist capturing moments in history.  I have three dogs which keep my family busy but I love them to death.

As your Florida PreTeen, I was able to attend the Winter Garden Christmas parade along with my sister queen, Janae.  I also continued working on a non profit organization that is near and dear to my heart especially because my friend and her brother started it.  The organization provides birthday parties for children in need.  Who doesn't love a birthday party!!   I also was able to participate in the Models for Miracles organization where we raise money for the Children's Miracle Network by hosting an auction and dinner followed by a modeling show.

Featuring Miss Florida Teen!

Hey Girls!
My name is Lexi Delgado and I'm so excited to be here with you this upcoming pageant weekend! Being your 2016 National American Miss Florida Junior Teen has been such a blessing and I'm so excited to see who the next lucky girl will be. Throughout my year of service, I've gotten the chance to work closely with the JDRF, an organization that funds Type 1 Diabetes, a disease that is near and dear to my heart. I've helped raise over a million dollars to fund a cure and I'm so excited to continue changing the lives of many who have been effected by this disease. Alongside this, I avidly perform at my local community theatre and entertain thousands of people of all ages, making my passion for theatre even greater! Without the help of National American Miss, I NEVER would've seen myself grow as a person and step out of my comfort zone. Before I became involved with NAM, I had stage fright and would hate speaking in front of people. I was always nervous o…

In the Spotlight is Miss Florida Teen!

Just over 9 years ago I stepped onto this stage and began a journey that has forever changed my life. After starting my adventure with National American MIss here in Florida, my family and I moved to Ohio where I continued competing for 7 more years. Each time I stepped onto that the stage I became more confident and more empowered in who I was. Even though each time I competed it was never my time to capture the title, I still kept coming back because I knew i was gaining so much more than just a crown and sash.

However when I heard my name called as the new Miss Florida Teen, I was overcome with emotion. Less then 48 hours after being crowned I jumped on a plane for the Ohio state pageant. Being reunited with my Ohio girls and celebrating with my Namily was so special. celebrating with them was so much fun!

This year I've had so many incredible opportunities. From with the girls at the Orlando Rescue Mission, meeting with my local Congressman and chatted politics, worked with m…

Featuring Miss Florida Pre-Teen Cover Girl!

My NAM journey began in the Summer of 2014 when I, like all of the other contestants, received that NAM open call letter in the mail. I was this shy 12-year-old girl who had only been in one pageant but also excited for what was in the store. I shyly attended open call and had my first photo shoot. Leaving open call, I was praying and hoping to get a second invitation. After what seemed like forever, it came in the mail and I was so excited. Walking away as first runner up in my first NAM Pageant was amazing, but what was better was the boost in confidence and self- esteem that came from that accomplishment. Fast forward to summer 2016 where I won BIG! I walked away with the Most Photogenic award, the Most Promising Model award, was 2nd runner up in the Casual Wear competition and won the Spirit of America Award but, best of all, I was crowned your 2016 Florida Preteen Covergirl. During my reign, I had the opportunity to volunteer at several organization such as Give Kids the Wor…
