Featuring Miss Ohio PreTeen 2013!

What an amazing year this has been!  I have to start by thanking God for this wonderful blessing he has given me.  I also have to give an infinite amount of gratitude to my parents, brother, family, and friends who have all supported me in this journey and helped to make my dreams come true!

After begin crowned last year, I quickly got to work, visiting the Michigan NAM pageant the very next week.  I continued working with my title by volunteering with my sister queens at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk.  I have also spent time this year volunteering with groups such as the American Heart Association, Relay for Life, and my own organization Project Kids Care.

The highlight of my year was attending nationals is Hollywood, California!  I had an amazing time, making new friends and lifelong memories.  The day at Disney was so much fun, and touring the streets of Hollywood was something I will never forget!  I was so honored to place top 5 in Casual Wear, Photogenic, and Most Promising Model!

This year would not have been complete without all of my NAMily, especially my terrific sister queens! Katie, Kamryn, Tori, Lili, Sydney, Mikayla, Regan, Olivia, Hallie, and Alayna, there are not enough kind words to describe each of you and what you have come to mean to me.  I’m so happy to have shared this experience with you and your families.  Miss Tiffany, Lakishia, and Sandy thank you for always being there to answer questions and help my mom through this year!  Mr. and Mrs. Mayes, thank you for creating this wonderful organization and sharing it with our great state!

To all of the contestants, I wish you the best of luck.  Only one girl can walk away with the crown, but you are all winners.  Never give up on your dreams, and be proud of all your accomplishments.  To that lucky girl who receives the crown, remember, “Dreams don’t work unless you do”.  Winning this title is not the end of your journey, but just the beginning.  Make the most of your year and always represent NAM, Ohio, and yourself to the best of your ability!  Take lots of pictures, and enjoy your time because it goes FAST!
