Dear contestants,

Congratulations on how far you've come and how hard you've worked. Let your personality shine on stage, and let the judges see how beautiful you are inside and out.

The first time I competed at National American Miss was in 2015 where I placed 1st runner up to the Jr.teen title, only to be win it the next year, thanks to the love on support of my family. To the women who has been with me every single step of the way, Mom; the best escort, Dad; and the best brother, Attalla; thank you for your help, encouragement and for always making me smile, I love you.

When crowned the NAM Michigan Jr.teen 2016, I had no idea that this year would be one of the greatest in my life, and one that I will cherish forever. Rebekah, Christina, Katelyn, Makiah, Mckenzie, and Amanda, volunteering and making appearances with you was a blast, and I can't imagine sharing those experiences with anyone else. You have all truly become my sisters.

Mr. and Mrs. Lew and Patti Schneider, thank you so much for welcoming me into the NAMily. Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Kathleen Mayes, I am so grateful that you have taken the Michigan pageant under your wings, allowing it to continue.

Lastly to the girls, while only one girl will walk away with the title, you all have the capability to go home with great experiences and new friends. Have fun, and best of luck!
