Open Calls 2010... Lets Kick off Pageant Season with a BANG !!!

I officially started my 2010 pageant season yesterday as I traveled from the ATX ... otherwise known as Austin, Texas to Houston, Texas. I’m so excited that we kicked off Open Calls because that means pageant season is just around the corner!!! If this is your first year at NAM, I can NOT wait to meet you. You will love NAM, it truly is a life changing experience!!! It is a great way for you to make new friends and gain valuable life long skills! Whether you want to be an actress or a teacher or whatever you want to be NAM will help you achieve your dreams. You will learn how to set goals and achieve them. You will have a blast performing on stage and having your moment to shine!!! Make memories, let your personality shine and take too many pictures! lol

If you are returning to NAM this year I can't wait to see you again!!! This year is going to be AWESOME!!! Set new goals and try something new , maybe try a different optional competition or make a goal to become facebook friends with 10 girls you meet at the pageant, set a goal to raise your grade point average or try out for the school play. Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be!!! Remember there can never be a more wonderful you! Each of you girls are so special and have so much to offer. Dream BIG!!!

Tip of the Day: Practice your communication skills and public speaking skills by introducing yourself to people you do not know. Maybe you see people at church or school,  but you have not taken the time to find out their name. This is great way to gain confidence and even make new friends !!!

Ten Need to Know Tips for The Personal Introduction Competition!

The goal of personal intro is to equip you with public speaking skills.  Figuring out just what to say can be fun and challenging.  So lets break it down!
What is Required ? 
For NAM you must say the following: 1.) Your name 2.) Your Hometown (where you currently reside) 3.) What you want to be when you grow you up and/or something interesting about yourself.  It is as easy 1, 2, 3!
Can you add more to your personal introduction? The is answer is ABSOLUTELY!
You want to the tell judges and audience about you and all of your exciting hobbies and ambitions! You can share what activities you are involved in, what organizations you volunteer with and if you have won any cool awards. This is your time to stand out and show everyone how confident you are. NAM: Tell us about yourself: Teri Lynlee: I am a six year old first grader at Mt. Pleasant Elementary. I love to sing, dance, play piano and act. Im the only girl of four children in my family.
NAM: What activities are you involved in? Teri Lynlee: I play basketball, softball, and piano. I enjoy the arts and I am involved in helping The Family Center in Columbia, TN. and I am currently teaming up with the National Brain Tumor Association to plan a fundraiser to aid in research.
