Meet The 2012-2013 National All- American Princess Brooke Heath

Brooke Rose Heath is the 2012-2013 National All-American Miss Princess.  She is a 7 year old girl from Katy, Texas who loves spending time with her Mom, Dad and sister Stephanie.  She also has fun playing with her two puppies – Hugs and Kisses.  Brooke isin the 2nd grade. She currently serves as her class Student Council Representative, but it is her ultimate goal to continue her political career and become the First Female President of the United States of America.  When Brooke is not in school, she enjoys playing soccer, taking dance lessons (ballet, tap and Jazz), modeling, acting and playing the piano.  She is a member of St. Bart’s Catholic Church.  Brooke volunteers her time with Lunches of Love and Katy Christian Ministries and loves to bring smiles to the faces of children like her.  Brooke is so excited about her new title as National All-American Miss Princess and cannot wait to experience the year ahead.

Tiffany: How did you get involved in National American Miss?

Brooke: I received a postcard in the mail inviting me to learn more about NAM.  I went to the initial meeting and knew I wanted to get involved in this wonderful organization.  I interviewed with the NAM representatives and was selected as a state finalist.  It has been an amazing journey.
Tiffany: How did you prepare for the National Pageant?
Brooke: I attended all of the workshops and read about NAM online.  I watched the videos that were posted and talked to the other contestants.  My older sister Stephanie and I practiced our introductions, formal wear, and interview questions together over and over again.
Tiffany: What is the best advice you have ever received?  
Brooke: Do your best, try your hardest and no matter what always have fun.
Tiffany: What quote, motto, or scripture best describes you?
Brooke: “You’ve got a friend in me”
Tiffany: What are your plans for the future?
Brooke: To become the first female President of the United States

Tiffany:What activities are you involved in?
Brooke: I love to play soccer, dance, play piano, act, model, and participate in pageants.  I also volunteer with Lunches of Love and Katy Christian Ministries.
Tiffany: What do you like to do for fun?
Brooke: I love to play with my American Girl Dolls, Barbie dolls, read, play piano, act in plays, model, play soccer and of course participate in pageants.
Tiffany: What is one item you can’t live without?
Brooke: I can’t live without my family – Mom, Dad, and My sister Stephanie.
Tiffany: Who is your rolemodel?
Brooke: My mother.  She gives all she has to our family and works really hard at work too.  Someday I hope to be like her.
Tiffany: What is your favorite TV show?
Brooke: Good Luck Charlie
Tiffany: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Brooke: I wore my shirt backwards all day and didn’t notice until bedtime.
Tiffany: If you had three wishes what would you wish for?
Brooke: For my Nana to come back from Heaven;for every child to have loving parents like me; and For people to always treat each other with love and respect.
Tiffany: If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
Brooke: The White House in Washington, D.C.  I want to know where I will be living one day.
Tiffany: What is your definition of a NAM girl?
Brooke: A friendly outgoing, confident girl who loves to have fun.
Tiffany: If you were stranded on a deserted island what three things could you not live without?
Brooke:My family, Beary (my stuffed animal); and Food and water.
Tiffany: What is your most prized possession?
Brooke: My small teddy bear that I received as a baby.  I call him Beary.
Tiffany: How would your friends describe you?
Brooke: They would describe me as a happy, sweet, intelligent, great friend to all.
Tiffany: How are you making a difference in your community?
Brooke: I enjoy working with Lunches of Love and working with Katy Christian Ministries to help other children like me have the food, clothing and shelter they need.
Tiffany: If you could go back in time and be at any historical event what would it be?
Brooke: I would like to see George Washington be sworn in as the first President of the United States. 
Tiffany: If you could go back in time and meet one person, who would it be and why?
Brooke: I would love to meet George Washington so I could ask him for some advice about becoming the President of the United States.
Tiffany: If you could be famous for something, what would you want to be famous for?
 Brooke: Becoming the first female President of the United States.
 Tiffany: What is your favorite book? and why?
 Brooke: Goodnight Moon.  I have read it since I was very little and it always makes me happy.
Tiffany: Where is your favorite place to shop?
Brooke: Justice – they have clothes Just for Girls.
Tiffany: Who or what inspires you most?
Brooke:  My mom - she always encourages me to do my best.
Tiffany: What have you learned about yourself since competing in pageants?
Brooke: That with hard work anything is possible.  I never dreamed when I began this journey that I would be crowned as the 2012-2013 National All-American Miss Princess, but with practice and hard work – it happened.
Tiffany: What advice do you have for future NAM girls?
Brooke: Make sure that you practice, try your hardest and have fun.  Also, take this opportunity to make friends from all over the world.  The girls in NAM will definitely inspire you to be more than you ever thought possible.
Tiffany: What things do you hope to accomplish during your year of service?    
Brooke: I want to encourage others like me to become outgoing, confident, friendly young women.  I hope to have a positive influence on those in my community and all over the world.  I want girls my age to realize all they are capable of doing and giving.  We may be small, but we can make a BIG difference in the lives of others.
Tiffany: What would you like to be doing 10 years from now?
Brooke: I plan to be attending college and preparing for law school.
Tiffany: If someone could live your life for a week, what would they find most interesting?
Brooke: That such a young girl could accomplish so much in just one week.
Tiffany: What is the best compliment you have ever received?
Brooke: That I am a well-rounded young girl with high ambitions.
