It's Been an Awesome Year for Miss New Jersey Jr. Pre-Teen Cover Girl Michaela McHenry!

Michaela McHenry 2015 National American Miss New Jersey Junior Pre-Teen Cover Girl is so excited about the upcoming State Pageant!
Here is a message from your reigning Miss New Jersey Junior Pre Teen Cover Girl and National Cover Girl 2015-2016.
It has been such a great year and I LOVE being a part of the NAM Family.
Having 2 older brothers...I have always wanted a sister and now I have Sisters all over the country!
My favorite part of being the New Jersey Junior Pre-Teen Cover Girl is all the friends I have made.
I was so excited to travel to California for Nationals and visit Disneyland, Hollywood, the Santa Monica Pier and the American Girl Doll Store!
We also got to see our California friends Auntie Nicole and Jake and go to Roscoes for chicken and waffles...delicious!
I proudly represented New Jersey as I made the top 10 in the Nation at Nationals...Krisann I will never forget this moment it was like we won the lotto!!!
A huge thank you to Krisann for coming to CA...I could not have done it without you!
My forever NAM Family: Holly, Katie, Krystle, LadyD, Simone, Soleil, Ava, Greg, Celinda, Andrea, Anisha, Andy, Briyah, Brittany & Silvana thank you for all the words of encouragement as I went off to California for Nationals.
Best of all my favorite organizations Pathways of Montville and Bernards PEC were recognized as I was honored with the prestigious Golden Achievement Service Award on the National Stage in California.
Thank you to my amazing State Directors Steve & Kathleen Mayes and very special thanks to Dawn Lee Costa and all my sponsors!
When we got back from California I put my crown to work!
I really enjoy being involved in my community: helping with a Toy Drive with BMW of Bridgewater for Great Expectations, had a fundraiser with Ivivva Bridgewater Commons to help raise funds for Pathways Build on to Haiti and all Pathways great programs!
We all enjoyed helping the Bernards PEC with a 5K to help raise money for children with special needs and learning disabilities in our town.
Lucky for me we have a special program at our Taekwondo school and I have had the opportunity to be a mentor to kids with special needs for several years now.
We look at what kids CAN do then change the rules a little bit so everyone can participate and be included.
Thank you to my Principal Joanne Hozeny, Melinda Jennis of Pathways for Exceptional Children and Betsy Riddiford with Bernards PEC for providing the Sensitivity Training at my elementary school.
I am so proud to be a part of these wonderful organizations and I will continue to make a difference.
On a personal note...I earned my Black Belt...almost 6 years of Taekwondo training and I finally reached my goal.
A big thank you goes to my Namily...I loved all the fun things we did with my sister Queens: Alexandra, Kayla, Jessy, Danielle, Skyy, Malak, Gigi and Madison ...I love you girls!
Last but not least I appreciate my wonderful family my Mom and Dad and my brother Quinn and especially my brother Colin for being the best escort and my biggest supporter.
Good Luck to all the 2016 New Jersey and New York State Finalists!
I am so excited to see you at the State Pageant in New Brunswick where I will crown the new New Jersey Jr Preteen Cover Girl.
This is my farewell but definitely not a goodbye...a quote from my sister Queen Katie Sour:
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up, the most certain way to succeed is to try just one more time"
For the last time I am your Miss New Jersey Jr. Preteen Cover Girl 2015
 Michaela McHenry
