It's Been an Awesome Year for Miss California Princess!

My year, as the 2014 Miss Southern California Princess, has been nothing short of amazing! From the moment I was crowned, I hit the ground running. I delivered bags of school supplies to every Teacher at my School. I also delivered supplies to every Elementary school in my School District. I couldn’t forget about my sweet Librarian, Mrs. Brady. So, I donated a box of books. 

My Sister Queens and I, visited Rady Children’s Hospital. We donated backpacks full of school supplies and activity books. We got the chance to meet an amazing little boy and read stories to a sweet little girl. After we tour the Ronald McDonald house, we donated several boxes of books.

Between Parades, walks, and visiting local Pageants, I found time to help organize a charity event with 6 of my NAM besties. As a co-founder for Up for Downs and Queens for a Cause, we got our community involved and presented a check to the Miss Amazing Pageant and DSAIE. 

Nationals was so much fun! I made so many new lifelong friends. I am so proud of myself for representing my state to the best of my ability. Thanksgiving dinner was YUMMY!

I attended LA Children’s Hospital, Celebrity Blood Drive. Since I’m too young to donate blood, I was able to bring in LAPD Bomb Squad to donate blood on my behalf. SO COOL!

What’s the best part of my year you ask? I would have to say that’s a tie between Walk for Wishes and Operation Cookie Drop. I lead Queens for a Cause in the Walk for Wishes for Make-A-Wish. Collecting over $1,000. With the help of my Sister Queens, we were able to bake over 600 chocolate chip cookies for 300 Marines who are stationed at Camp Pendleton but training in the field at 29 Palms for over a month.

My year has flown by fast and I am sad to see it coming to an end. To my Parents and Family, Thank you for being my biggest fans! To my Sister Queens, I am very lucky to have the 5 Best Big Sisters in the world. To those competing in NAM this year, this is the beginning, of anything you want. Have Faith, Believe, and Dream. Be Bold, Be Creative, Be You!
