Dear NAM North Texas Princess State Finalists,

What an honor it is to be writing this letter to you.  I have felt like I can help everyone and do everything since being crowned as the Princess Queen last July!  I have made some wonderful new friends that I am proud to call my Sister Queens.  Not having any true sisters of my own, it has been so great getting to know them all and I feel very lucky.  

Representing NAM has been so much fun!  I volunteered with SPCA of McKinney, Community Partners of Dallas and The Dallas Furniture Bank.  It was exciting to learn so much about how important it is to help others and I left every time feeling happy.  

The only thing that mattered to me when I heard my name called last year as the new Princess was that I knew I had tried my best and had been kind to others.  

I wish the same for you.  Never give up and always try and do your best.  Act yourself and don’t try to be anyone else because you are who you are.  Never get mad or sad, just be happy for everyone else, and know in your heart you did the best you could.  Each one of you is just as beautiful inside as you are on the outside.
